#The Foundation of Your Entire Account
Think of the Business Profile tab as the foundation of your entire Karo Simple setup. Every single feature across the platform (your printed QR codes, the brand header on your customer review page, and the phrasing of your AI-generated reviews) pulls its data directly from what you configure here.
Taking 3 minutes to fill out these details thoughtfully ensures that your automated review generation sounds natural, convincing, and hyper-localized to your neighborhood.
#Create Mode vs Edit Mode
- Create Mode (First Time): When you open Settings for the first time, you are in Create Mode. The submit button at the bottom displays "Create Business Profile". Once saved, the secondary Platform Links section appears automatically.
- Edit Mode (Subsequent Visits): Whenever you return to adjust your address, keywords, or description, the button displays "Save Business Profile". Changes take effect across your landing pages immediately.

#Setting Up Your Core Business Identity
Enter Your Official Business Name (Required)
Type your business or shop name exactly as you want it displayed to scanning customers. For example: "Sunita's Beauty Parlour" or "Ramesh Dental Clinic (Koramangala)".
Select Your Business Category (Required)
Choose your industry from the dropdown list (such as Restaurant, Salon, Clinic, Retail Store, Gym, Hotel, or Professional Services). If your specific niche is missing, select "Other" and type your custom category in the field that appears.

Google's search algorithm heavily rewards reviews that mention real geographic neighborhoods, cross-streets, and well-known local landmarks. Karo Simple allows you to enter detailed location coordinates so our AI can naturally embed local flavor into review suggestions:
- Street Address: Your physical shop number, floor, or building complex name.
- City: Your primary city or municipality (e.g. Pune, Jaipur, Hyderabad).
- Area / Neighborhood: Your specific locality (e.g. Koramangala, Lajpat Nagar, Banjara Hills).
- Prominent Landmark: A recognizable public landmark nearby (e.g. "Opposite City Palace", "Near Tripolia Gate", or "Behind Metro Station Gate 2").
Real-World Location Example
If you enter "Opposite City Palace, near Tripolia Gate, Old City, Jaipur", the AI writes natural phrases like: "Best lassi in Old Jaipur, right next to City Palace! Staff was super polite." Customers love copying reviews that feel genuinely local.

The AI Context field is the single most impactful setting on this page. It is a concise, 1 to 2 sentence summary of what makes your business special. Every time you generate AI reviews in the future, the system references this prompt to ensure the output sounds unique to your brand.
